I love to see rainbows, always magical. We really need rain over here as we have had 8 weeks with only a couple of showers. Unheard of at this time of year!
@easygardener I always feel blessed to see one...it is rare. Isn't it strange how we have so much, too much rain in some areas and drought conditions in others. This has been a very strange season. I wish for you rain...very soon.
@Donna We have had short breaks between the rainy periods. I love the rain...the garden loves the rain, but it has been hard to get much done in the garden.
@The Sage Butterfly that's was what I liked about it, I just wanted to enhance the photo not change it, will post the original in my next post, Frances
Great shot. I don't know whether the colors of the rainbow itself or the silvery, pinky colors of the cloud are more alluring! A boy in one of my classes this week, clad from head to toe in rain gear, asked me "It's raining, but how come there is no rainbow?" This sent me back to when I first began to look for rainbows.
