The butterfly counts not months, but moments, and has time enough. - Rabindranath Tagore
I love to see rainbows, always magical. We really need rain over here as we have had 8 weeks with only a couple of showers. Unheard of at this time of year!
@easygardener I always feel blessed to see one...it is rare. Isn't it strange how we have so much, too much rain in some areas and drought conditions in others. This has been a very strange season. I wish for you rain...very soon.
What a great photo. What is it about seeing a rainbow that just makes you feel like a kid again?
Oh, your photos are great. Your flowers are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing them!
a beautiful rainbow, don't you just love them, Frances p.s. the soft blue in my photo is photoshop ....
No rainbows here, just rain and lots of it. Garden is loving it.
I love catching a glimpse of a rainbow, what a treat! So happy you shared, its beautiful =)
Beautiful photo, I've only managed to capture one of these natural wonders a couple of times on camera. :)
@Debbie/GardenofPossibilities I agree...I don't know what it is...maybe because it is rare it seems like a magical experience.
@Kwee Lewis Thank you, Kwee. And thank you for stopping by.
@Island Threads Thanks, Island Threads. I would never have known it was Photoshop...seemed so natural.
@Marcia We also have had tremendous rain. My flowers and vegetables are loving it, too. Thanks for visiting.
@Desperate Gardener Thanks, Stacy. We felt very lucky to get that show...so we can enjoy it forever.
@ronniejt28 Thanks, Ronnie. I love rainbows...they are rare...glad we got the shot.
@Julia@PolkaDotGaloshes Thanks, Julia. It sure was a treat. I love rainbows.
@perennialgardener Same here...I think this is only the second one I have ever photographed. We were so happy to have gotten the shot.
Lovely picture...I have not seen any rainbows yet since the rain has been so extensive there hasn't been a break for a rainbow to appear...
Gorgeous shot, looks so dreamy.
Beautiful!! We've had an insane amount of rain but I haven't seen many rainbows. But I'm happy to see yours!
No sun here to make the rainbow smile. Nice photo and pretty sky.
Wonderful, simply wonderful. Thank you.
@Donna We have had short breaks between the rainy periods. I love the rain...the garden loves the rain, but it has been hard to get much done in the garden.
@Kristi Thanks, Kristi. Rainbows seem to create than kind of effect.
@Casa Mariposa It has been rainy here as well...hard to get much done in the garden.
@gardenwalkgardentalk.com Thanks, Donna. It has been interesting weather here as well. I hope you get some sunshine soon.
@Dave@Gardeningonadime Thank you, Dave. I am so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for visiting.
Seeing rainbows always seems so magical! You captured the beautiful rainbow as well as the atmosphere going on after the rain! Superb!
@The Sage Butterflythat's was what I liked about it, I just wanted to enhance the photo not change it, will post the original in my next post, Frances
@Karin / Southern Meadows They do seem magical, don't they. I don't know what it is about them, but they are so appealing. Thanks for stopping by.
Great shot. I don't know whether the colors of the rainbow itself or the silvery, pinky colors of the cloud are more alluring! A boy in one of my classes this week, clad from head to toe in rain gear, asked me "It's raining, but how come there is no rainbow?" This sent me back to when I first began to look for rainbows.
@Kate/ Beyond the Brambles A-aw...that is so cute. It is fun to look for rainbows, isn't it?
Beautiful! I haven't seen a rainbow yet this season.
