ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible selection you have for June. You have many blooming I still have weeks to wait and see. The Monarda here is just starting to get big, but no flowers yet. Same with coreopsis, only a few sparse flowers so far. I always feel a month behind most bloggers on GBBD, but it is nice to see what is out there and is coming my way eventually.

ReplyDeleteWow, you have all of your summer blooms beginning and your zucchini is flowering ~ quite jealous. The land of the perpetual mist continues to be damp and behind. ReplyDeleteThat really is a bounty! Looking at what you have in bloom makes me realize that June is when my sped-up Maine spring and summer seasons start to catch up with gardens further south. I have astilbe that will begin to bloom within the next week, lots of buds getting fatter on lilies and daylilies, and I'm watching for my first wild strawberry sighting. -Jean

ReplyDeleteSquash bugs are hard to control. I pick them off and throw them in a bucket of soapy water. I also scrape off the eggs from underneath leaves. I have not found an organic gardening product that would control them.
@scottweberpdx That is a pretty echinacea variety...I just added it last year. Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDelete@jeansgarden It doesn't seem as if you are too far behind. Thanks for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteWhat a bounty of blooms! And a bountiful harvest of vegetables as well. I love the dark pink Asiatic lily, but the blue hydrangea blooms are certainly an eye-catcher as well.
ReplyDeleteThe butterflies are just beginning to arrive here, and I managed to take my first photo of the season of one visitor. I wasn't sure what it was, but it looks very much like your fritallary...or is it a sage butterfly?:)
I am envious - what a lovely garden
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! The vegs look healthy and juicy.
