  2. Beautiful! We have had March snows here in years past - one year it snowed every Wednesday - but it's not the norm to see snow on blooms.

  3. Our daffodils are so different! Had forgotten that they bathe in snow as well as bask in Spring sunshine. Beautifully iced here and thanks for stopping by. Happy WW

  4. That picture made me sad. Pretty image, but poor daffs.

  5. An unusual picture for me - over here the risk of snow has usually gone by the time Daffodils are in full flower. They seem very stoic in your lovely picture :-)

  6. Thank you, ronniejt28! We had a light dusting of snow last weekend, and it 'blessed' the Narcissi.

  8. Hi Ginny...I cannot remember the last time we had snow when the daffodils were in bloom, but they stood up to it very nicely.

  10. Hi PatioPatch! They somehow hold the snow clumps on their petals like cloaks against the cold. Now, they are swaying the wind, dry and happy.

  11. Hi gardenwalkgardentalk! Thanks for stopping by. I also saw it as a sad photo, at first. Then, as I looked at it a bit longer, I began to see the emerging strength of Narcissi against the cold cloak.

  12. Hi easygardener! Usually our snow is gone by this time as well. We just had one of those freak snow happenings!

  13. Hi Donna! I love the snow from late November to maybe February, but once spring rears its head I really would rather have it gone.

  14. A bit unusual scene, at least for me but very lovely..sunny bright daffodils in the middle of snow!

  15. I was amazed by it as well, p3chandon. We rarely get snow when the daffs are blooming.

  16. So pretty even if it doesn't look quite right for springtime. My pansies had some snow on them the other day. Hopefully it will melt soon and the warm sun will come out to cheer everyone up! Nice to have found your blog!

  17. Kate, we are also anxiously waiting for that warm sun!
